
A solo exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary of this world-class, Toledo artist’s work from the Grant family private collection

Due to inclement weather on the opening day of the exhibit, a post-Valentine’s Day public reception will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, 2 – 6 p.m.
Born in Warsaw, Poland in 1924, Adam (Grochowski) Grant was a Holocaust survivor and naturalized citizen who lived and painted in Toledo, OH, until his death in 1992. The Adam Grant Centennial exhibit features paintings by this museum-collected artist, many of which are available for purchase for the first time.
Free, public reception: Saturday, February 17, from 2 – 6 p.m.
… featuring a post-Valentine’s Day toast to Adam and Peggy Grant, and loving reminiscences shared by dear friends of the Grants! The event will include a complimentary, light tapas buffet and cash bar by Venue.
Comprising 40 full-color pages, the catalogue contains a full annotated biography of the artist, images of exhibited artwork, never-before-seen reference photographs and documentation of prevailing themes in Grant’s artwork.
