Immersive art event at 20 North Gallery
On Thursday, March 14, 20 North Gallery hosts Toledo-area artist Aaron Pickens for an interactive Artist Talk & Demonstration.
Aaron Pickens’ Artist Talk offers viewers insight into the process and symbolism behind the artworks featured the Toy Stories: Paintings by Aaron Pickens, the current exhibition at 20 North Gallery.
The talk and tableaux painting demonstration begins at 7 p.m. Guests have the opportunity for conversation with the artist before and following the program. The 6-9 p.m. reception features complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar by Venue.
Free and open to the public.
The exhibit continues through March 30, 2019.

Aaron Pickens is a celebrated and rising artistic talent as well as a dedicated educator, fostering new artists through his teaching at area academic institutions and collaborations with other studios. His popular and thought-provoking paintings of toy tableaux demonstrate a strong duality of meaning and whimsy that explores matters of social justice, yet is accessible to the child within us all.
