On December 2, the gallery will be closed in the evening and the artists will be presenting from their own homes. The recorded talks will also be available for one week on the TFAS Facebook page.

Both Ballweg and Fisher are printmakers and painters of regional and international renown, with their work forming part of permanent museum collections throughout the American Midwest and Asia (Guangzhou Museum of Art, China – Janet Ballweg and Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Japan – Craig Fisher). 20 North Gallery is proud to have hosted both artists in past exhibits: Janet Ballweg’s Mystical Images (with Carol Imes-Luscombe) in 2004 and Craig Fisher’s In Otherworlds (with Dan Hernandez) in 2017.

Additionally, they are both represented in the TFAS permanent collection, as past purchase award winners: Craig Fisher receiving the purchase award for the intaglio print Under Kaaba in 1986 and Janet Ballweg winning the award for the painting None May Accompany Me in 1997. Both of these fine works of art are part of the TFAS leasing program.
Janet Ballweg is a professor of art at Bowling Green State University (Ohio) and serves as head of the printmaking program there. Two silkscreens she created are part of the TFAS100+3 exhibit, All You Can Carry and Sugar and Ice.
Independent printmaker Craig Fisher also has two works in the TFAS100+3 exhibit, a line etching, aquatint and Chine côllé print, The Step Well, and the mezzotint, with aquatint, line etching and engraving, Requiem for Homero.

A Question & Answer session will follow each artist’s talk.
