As the estate representatives for the late Adam Grant, 20 North Gallery is proud to offer for this season sets of specially-commissioned Adam Grant artwork Christmas cards!
Angels and Madonnas – In 1947, 23-year-old Polish artist, Adam Grant, had survived the notorious Auschwitz and Mauthausen Nazi death camps and was living in a displaced persons camps as an officially stateless individual. That year, he commemorated Christmas with a poignant depiction of the Madonna and Child as homeless refugees on the Flight into Egypt.
Later, every year during his life in the U.S., Adam Grant would create a family Christmas card design, using pen-and-ink, intaglio printing, watercolors or pastels. Prompted by a December 2018 wish of his widow, Peggy Grant, we are delighted to present a set of 12 of these beautiful designs, in a new, locally-sourced printed edition.

For all the above designs, a limited number of individual cards are also available, $2 per card. All cards will be available for purchase through December 24, 2021.
