This autumn, 20 North Gallery is proud to present Joel Fremion: Fabric of the Midwest, a solo exhibition of Fort Wayne, Indiana-area artist Joel Fremion’s own unique process of fabric collage. Utilizing the patterns and textures of his fiber medium, Fremion creates tactile landscapes, still life compositions and portraiture that must be viewed in person to be believed.

Joel Fremion (Ossian, Indiana)
Joel Fremion studied architectural design and interior design at Purdue University Fort Wayne (Indiana) and painting at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art (Indiana). His work forms part of multiple permanent, public collections of institutions such as the Midwest Museum of American Art (Elkhart, Indiana). Fremion has been awarded numerous honors for his fabric collage work, including Best of Show in the Crosby Festival of the Arts at Toledo Botanical Garden (Ohio) in 2021.
